Mariam Mohammed's Biography
Mariam Mohammed serves as the Vice Chair of the Charity Watch Foundation, where she plays a key role in shaping programs and ensuring the organization's long-term sustainability. With 15 years of experience in both clinical and non-clinical public health settings, Mariam is dedicated to providing essential support in areas such as livelihood development, quality education, access to portable water, nutrition & sanitation for orphans, underprivileged children, and women.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy in New York. Currently, MS. Mariam works with New York City hospital, focusing on minority populations and actively working to bridge the gaps in health disparities. Previously, she worked with the WHO Collaborating Center in Ghana, NIH initiated projects aimed at supporting children, women, and marginalized communities.
Under Mariam’s leadership, the Charity Watch Foundation operates as a nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through sustainable Programs/initiatives. She fosters collaboration and innovation, ensuring that the voices of the individuals served are prioritized in every project.
